How To Have Nice Hair}

Getting a good haircut is as important as choosing a proper deodorant. You know how frustrating a bad haircut can get! Though it is sometimes the fault of the barber or stylist doing the work, but the blame often lies with the client. If you are unrealistic about your hair, it wont work. Neither will failure to explain, or a hostile attitude. You have to befriend your stylist & know more or less what kind of cut you want.

Why dont you get an appointment? : It has been noticed that barbershops or rather, salons which offer on appointments have a better standard than the rest. The stylists wouldnt then rush through your hair. An appointment allowsample time to complete the service with attention to detail.

Be a nice customer: There a few people you shouldnt be messing with; like you dont mess with what body sprays to use. The list includes your tattoo artist, your hair person & your doctor! Make an effort and be nice to the person who is cutting & styling your hair. Ideally, he/she should be your confidante and best friend.

The person cutting your hair can really ruin your life (or at least a month :P) so it’s important that he or she receives good vibes from you, or else you will be left with a haircut that none of your friends especially that special someone would like. So pay little attention when your barber cuts your hair.

Listen to your stylist: Barbers and stylists are trained to make you look great and will know what the best cut would be, for your face. So give it a try! Just because you are a guy, there;s no need to stick to the same boring old haircut just because you are comfortable with it. You do change your deo spray too, once in a while, dont you? Don’t be afraid to change it up a bit. If you don’t like the cut, it will always grow back.

Have realistic expectations: If you arent George Clooney or Hugh Jackman, whatever you do cant make you look like them. Neither can your stylist make you look like them.Its important to have a mature self-image and know that whatever works for celebs might not always work for you! Take a magazine photo with you to show your stylist the cut you’re after. If it’s not realistic, a stylist will tell you so and then make suggestions on similar alternatives which will work for you.

Find your hair kindred spirit! : Getting men to talk about hair is next to impossible, but keep in mind that the best way to find a barber or stylist who suits your style is to ask. Find a guy who has a haircut similar to the cut you’re after and just ask him, “Hey what an awesome cut. Who did it, by the way?” He’ll consider it a compliment and you might just meet your hair person!

Of course, maintaining a great looking head of hair involves more than good communication with your barber or stylist, but following these basic guidelines will ensure that you are off to a great start!
